Prana Therapy – IAP logo
pneuma is ancient Greek for spirit, whereas psyche is ancient Greek for soul
Pneumapathy is an ancient eastern healing system that treats the holistic human being from the vantage point of the spirit. Over the course of human history, Pneumapathy developed considerably. Today, the art and science of pneumapathy comprise proven methods from several different cultures. IAP is the self-regulating and licensing body that certifies training curricula, trainers and teachers, and professional healers.
The Pneumapath is a professional healer trained in pneumapathy, the metaphysics of healing the holistic person from the spiritual vantage point. The Pneumapath is also trained as a Pneumatologist.
The Pneumatherapist is a professional healer trained in pneumapathy who, not unlike the nurse practitioner, manages her own practice but works under supervision of a certified Pneumapath.
The Pneumatologist is a specialist and student in the metaphysics of matters relating to the human spirit and spiritual beings in general. The Pneumatologist is a professional healer who, not unlike the Psychologist, makes use of counselling skills to help people. Pneumatologists operate within the sphere of any spiritual tradition that holds the existence of the individual soul and reincarnation as central to its doctrine.
During early 2016, International Association of Pneumatology and Association of Pneumapathy merged as one professional body now known as International Association of Pneumapathy. IAP is a worldwide membership based self-regulating body and certifying authority for professional pneumatologists, pneumatherapists and pneumapaths. IAP upholds professional standards and Continuing Education requirements for licensed professionals.
Headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal (Eastern World) and Ontario, Canada (Western World), we serve members and member organizations worldwide.
